Funny how many people I’m in touch with lately who are experimenting with high-fat, low-carb (HFLC), no sugar, no grain (NSNG) eating for purposes outside of weight loss. Runners looking to improve performance and solve a variety of different gastric and metabolic issues. My friend Ron is a good example of such. He’s an accomplished marathoner on the road to running a 100-miler this summer and has just written a detailed blog post on how an NSNG diet appears to have cured pretty dramatic lifelong nervous stomach, gastric distress. For the record, my abs don’t look like that, so don’t expect pictures here anytime in the foreseeable future.
