One of the best parts about in-town living is the great neighbors we have. And though we all get along and really like each other, we don't see them all that often. Busy lives, different schedules. But almost every time there's a good snow, you're sure to find neighbors from two or three of the houses around is leaning on their shovels or the handles of their snow blowers, catching up, swapping snow stories, and trying to figure out a date sometime in the next couple of months when we can all get together for dinner and drinks again. We may not live in a front porch culture anymore, but on a snowy day in a small city neighborhood, there are certainly echoes of it.
