   That looks suspiciously like one of those kits (Brainbox?) that has plans for making the fan take off and hit the ceiling. My kids love it – it’s the one circuit they build again and again. (Had to go a buy some more fuses though as they kept short-circuiting them).

   Are you into ham radio? Lots of ‘geeky’ fun there with electronics – particularly communication electronics. I know I have good time..

   Hey Stephen, good to hear from you! In fact, the fan will take off and hit the ceiling! We discovered by accident — if you reverse the motor in the circuit path the fan launches! We found out accidentally… hadn’t gotten to that project in the book yet!

   And Andrew, no, not ham radio yet! But that’s a good suggestion. Ties in well with a lot of our other interests!
