Great news for Shroud — exciting to see new fiction publications succeeding. And no, I'm not just happy for these guys because they published one of my stories. But that made me happy, too. Shroud Publishing Signs North American Distribution Agreement with Ingram
Periodicals
MILTON, NH Shroud Publishing, an independent press that publishes dark literary fiction, has signed an exclusive four-year distribution agreement with Ingram Periodicals. As a result, Ingram will shop the publishing company's flagship product "Shroud Magazine" around to major book retailers in the United States and Canada.
Ingram Periodicals is a leader in the specialty magazine distribution industry, currently representing more than 3,800 titles in more than 9,500 retail outlets throughout the United States and Canada. Ingram includes B. Dalton Booksellers, Barnes & Noble, City Newsstand, Copperfield's and many others as its customers.
Shroud Publishing launched in November of 2007, and has since developed a loyal following of readers and authors within the genre. To-date the company has garnered more than seven Bram Stoker Award Recommendations from members of the Horror Writers, Association, and has received a number of informal accolades from esteemed members of the literary community.
Editor and Publisher Tim Deal believes that the agreement with Ingram will have a significant impact on the magazine's circulation and scope.

Ingram will spend the next 8 weeks presenting the magazine to its retail base and then report back to deal with its first order. Deal plans to continue to offer discounted advertising rates to his customers for at least the next issue, and then reexamine rates based upon the magazine¹s new circulation size.
