Got a note via Twitter from John Herman regarding a new project of his that seems like a great idea, NH Media Makers. He describes it thusly: "We are looking for bloggers, podcasters, filmmakers, New Media enthusiasts, social media bugs, web artists, and vloggers (or people wanting to learn more) who are interested in talking shop and sharing their current projects in an informal setting. NH Media Makers will be a monthly meet-up for media enthusiasts in the Granite State. Learn, get inspired, and collaborate. Interested?"
Reminds me of the blogger meetups I went to back in Vermont and up in Concord — except with an expanded scope, which makes sense. I'm going to try and make it.
