The Telegraph's editorial page editor, Nick Pappas, has a column this week on what's an editorial board. I'm a member of The Telegraph's editorial board, and so I pass along a link to this — which also gives me a chance to mention the last item in Nick's column: the presidential primary candidates interviews. One of the duties of the editorial board members is to interview candidates for local, state and national offices and then decide on which ones to endorse on the editorial pages of the paper. This year, as we interview the presidential primary candidates, we're Web-casting them live from Nashua South High School — where there's an amazing student-run television production studio. And while it's always fascinating to interview candidates (they surprise me, always — the shorter-form answers we see from them in broadcast debates and the like simply can't reveal as much depth as these hour-long chats do) — the great venue, and the energy of the student producers, directors and technicians, seems to be not only giving me and the other members of the editorial board a fresh perspective on these interviews, but perhaps the candidates as well. I urge you to check out NHPrimary.com and watch the videos. They really offer some unique, thoughtful and contemplative time with the presidential primary candidates.
