I don't know anymore what this particular page ought to do.  But I know having it be a linkdump for my del.icio.us links is just ugly.  So I've sent all my del.icio.us links to my Facebook page, instead.  Along with my Twitter posts.  Which now, of course, are fed by Twitterfeed directly from my Facebook status… which I could update directly from my cell phone, if I were feeling that desperate to share… which I almost was while in stuck a traffic jam this evening on the way home.  If it hadn't broken just when it did…

In any case, what I'd like to do here is go back to writing the occasional sappy post about my kids or my wife, or some dull (to most everyone else) think about language, or religion or modes and scales and music and fiction writing and Scotch.  Been so busy (engaged and engrossed) with work and family lately that I haven't been much prompted to sit an ruminate like that.  And I'm finding my writing muscle's suffering from disuse.  My fingers are still sharp though – I pick up the guitar whenever a spare second presents itself, and teaching David to play piano has forced me to sit down at it again as well.

So here's to good intentions – I'm going to take a cue from my wife, who still finds time to write lovely blog posts despite a schedule as hectic as my own (maybe worse!).  If you're looking for the links, check my del.icio.us  account, or Facebook, where all of my Web identities wash up like flotsam in some reeking cove – not that there's anything wrong with that…
