So after playing with Twitter for a few days, I couldn't help but start thinking about fiction applications.  I Googled Twitter fiction and found Twitter Fiction – the concept is to tell a story in 140 characters.  Microfiction.  Cool! What I was thinking, however, is how this might work for a long-format story. For example, a novel made up of Twitter posts.  Or ongoing serial.  Etc.  The interesting bit about this is, each installment could be this nearly-poetry-dense bit of story, and taken as a whole, tell a fairly complex story and reveal a lot about the character doing the Twitter posts.  The challenge would be that you'd have to account for readers coming into the story in the middle, or reading the story forward or backwards.

Here's a link to a character/story I've been working on in long form that I'm going to Twitterize

Thoughts on the concept?  Going to try it?  If so let me know and I'll follow along…
